The Culture and Inclusion Leaders Summit provides a space for EDI Professionals within member companies to come together to connect, learn and share good practice, in pursuit of achieving race equity in senior leadership across the UK business community.
Our theme for this summit will be ‘Creating Connection in a Changing Society’.
Political and social tensions don't stay at the office door. Senior leaders are being asked to hold firm to their organisation's values while making room for colleagues who see the world very differently, often with little time to make decisions and a lot at stake.
The summit will provide members with new insights, fresh perspectives and practical steps that you can take in your workplace to manage across differences and equip leaders to tackle difficult conversations with confidence.

Our panel of expert speakers will share their insights and expertise in public attitudes and social cohesion. The panel will explore how political and social tensions can affect workplace relationships, employee expectations and conversations about inclusion. Our panel includes Lucy Knill, CEO, Anthropy and Sunder Katwala, CEO, British Futures - more speakers to be confirmed.
Following the panel, we’ll have a highly interactive workshop, led by Ritika Wadhwa. In the workshop, you'll work in small roundtable groups exploring the four capabilities of the cultural intelligence (CQ) framework: Drive, Knowledge, Strategy and Action. Provocative questions and real-world scenarios will help you test your instincts, hear from peers, and leave with tools you can use the next day to have difficult conversations well, build common ground and keep trust when views collide.
Delegates will have the chance to network and share reflections from the day over drinks. You'll also be able to purchase Ritika's new book 'Not Optional ', with proceeds going to a bursary. The book explores how Cultural Intelligence can be applied to lead through complexity and change.
