Why The London Borough of Waltham Forest Council signed Change the Race Ratio
Waltham Forest became the first local authority to sign the Change the Race Ratio pledge in May 2022, solidifying their commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Councillor Vicky Ashworth, Cabinet Member for Equality and Diversity at Waltham Forest Council, said: “By signing the Change the Race Ratio pledge we are strengthening our commitment to improving racial and ethnic diversity in senior leadership, continuing to tackle our ethnicity and gender pay gaps and creating a truly inclusive culture where our differences are celebrated.”
