Why ED&I is important to Chaucer
At Chaucer, we put inclusion at the heart of everything we do- demonstrating that prioritising DEI delivers measurable improvements in culture and greater business success. We have set ambitious targets to help narrow both our ethnicity pay and bonus gaps.
Since 2020 we have seen a marked 6% increase in ethnic minority representation. As of December 2025, we have exceeded the industry benchmark of “1 in 3” hiring from ethnic minority talent pool underscoring our commitment to a workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
We also hold ourselves to account at both Board and leadership committee levels which reflect better representation at 33% and 10% respectively.
