Come to the Leaders for Race Equity showcase event to learn what the programme’s about and how it could benefit your business.
The event is taking place on 19th April 5-6pm and will include contributions from broadcaster Sir Trevor Phillips and equality campaigner Pavita Cooper.
Leaders for Race Equity is a nine-month learning programme that pairs CEOs with senior executives that are ready for an ExCo appointment in the next two to three years.
The pairing gives the senior executive the benefit of strategic guidance, and the CEO the opportunity to understand the lived experience of an ethnic minority professional who’s navigating an organisational structure.
We’ve just completed a highly successful first cohort with pairings from, amongst others, The London Stock Exchange Group, NatWest, Wincanton and National Grid. Our second cohort will start in June.
We know that lack of diversity at the top of UK business is more about lack of access than lack of talent. So the goals of the programme are simple; to allow learning from each side, and to create a ‘corridor of access’ for ethnic minority talent to reach the ExCo.
We believe the programme could also support your Change the Race Ratio commitment to increase ethnic minority representation in leadership roles.
